Arne Jacobsen 1957 Grand Prix chair & New shot from animation

I recently noticed a blogger post up an image of Arne Jacobsen’s 1957 Grand Prix chair which reminded me that I had the half finished model sat in my library. So I opened it back up and finished it off. I managed to source the drawings from the manufacturer so I was able to model it to the mm. I unwrapped it and textured it and bunged it in my bedroom scene (first render). It’ll definitely be featuring in my ‘Clifton Hill’ animation this year.

Secondly, I was asked during one of my presentations to tell a story with my animation (Clifton Hill House). I couldn’t think of a decent way of telling one with what I had, so I came up with something unrelated to the building. Instead I opted to tell a story regarding my years at Uni, since this is the final year I thought I’d go out with a bang. The second render gives a little sneak preview of it (I’m not going to reveal exactly what it is until the animation is complete).

  3. Hmm is anyone else encountering problems with the pictures on this blog loading? I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
